The California Legislature has created a category of dental health professionals called the Registered Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice (RDHAP)

 

 

Kimberly Ochoa obtained that RDHAP license in May 2006 upon completion of a certificate program in Oral Health Care for People with Special Needs from the University of Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, San Francisco, CA. 

  
Educational Background 
 
In 1997 Kimberly graduated with an AS degree in Dental Hygiene from Fresno City College in Fresno, CA.  Then, in June 2008 she graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from St. Petersburg College, Florida.
 
 


 
Professional History 
 
 
 
Kimberly has been providing professional and caring oral hygiene services in private practice for over 11 years.  In July 2007, she started providing those same services to resident of skilled nursing, residential care facilities and private homes.
